Brent served as lead counsel in a national class action settlement against Rite Aid on behalf of consumers and attorneys who claimed that Rite Aid’s charges for patient prescription records were excessive and improper. The case settled on a nationwide class basis with benefits valued at over $1.5 million provided to class members.

The case settled on a nationwide basis on behalf of the retirees with benefits valued at over $50 million provided to class members.

Brent served as co-lead counsel in a national class action representing former Merrill Lynch brokers who were denied certain deferred compensation owed to them. This case settled on a national class basis for $40 million on behalf of 1,400 brokers. Following Merrill Lynch’s merger with Bank of America.
